St Mary’s Primary School is situated on the Olympic Highway leading into Young. Founded and originally staffed by the Presentation Sisters, the school is proud to continue in the traditions of the Presentation Order.

St Mary’s Mission Statement and School Prayer follow the example of Mary, in that ‘We strive for the growth of each individual through excellence in Catholic Education in a spirit of love and service‘.

St Mary’s provides a rich and comprehensive curriculum that creates opportunities for its students to develop confidence, self-control, responsibility for their actions and a positive attitude through experiencing success. This involves becoming self-motivated learners, mastering literacy and numeracy, learning to operate effectively as team members and acquiring decision making, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
