Calling former students and teachers of St Patrick’s Primary School, Braddon.
You are invited to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the parish with a special Mass from 8am, celebrated by Archbishop Christopher Prowse.
Founded in 1935 by Fr (later Monsignor) Patrick Haydon, St Patrick’s was the second Catholic school in Canberra and the first Catholic church in the city’s northern suburbs. Staffed initially by the Good Samaritan Sisters and later by the Sisters of Mercy, the school served generations of Canberrans until its closure in 1973.
Join us in celebrating this milestone and honouring the legacy of those who have shaped St Patrick’s over the past 90 years.
