Reconciliation Mural Commemorated by St Francis Xavier Lake Cargelligo
The 13th of February commemorates an important moment in Australian history. Today marks the 11th Anniversary of the formal apology by the Australian Parliament to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for past injustices, particularly the Stolen Generations. Today thousands of classrooms across the Archdiocese Canberra-Goulburn will reflect on this moment of solidarity and pray for the children who were taken away from their families and homes.
