This week Trinity had Andrew Chinn Australian religious songwriter and singer, visit Trinity to share his songs with the staff and children. On Monday, Trinity hosted 95 staff including the following Western Regions schools: St Joseph’s Boorowa, St Joseph’s Grenfell, St Mary’s Batlow, St Mary’s Young, St Joseph’s Adelong, St Anne’s Temora, St Mary’s West Wyalong and St Francis Xavier Lake Cargelligo to a staff Spirituality day. The focus on the staff day was on music and daily and community prayer- in the class and as a school, music and liturgy with children and music and catechesis and scripture. The following day St Joseph’s Boorowa, St Mary’s Batlow and St Joseph’s Adelong students and staff joined Trinity for concerts throughout the day. St Joseph’s Boorowa students, staff, parents and parishioners returned in the evening to join the students, staff and parents of Trinity for a concert! What a fantastic and entertaining way to truly immerse staff and children in scripture and prayer! The children also had fun participating in physical education activities and sharing their break times throughout the day. WE look forward to having more experiences s like this in the future!
