2024 Faith in Learning Catholic Education Excellence Awards

Our Faith in Learning Catholic Education Excellence Awards on 8 August celebrated the charism, ministry and vocation of people working or volunteering in our Archdiocese. The awards recognised our staff and parents who use their God-given gifts to ensure that our schools provide students with the best learning opportunities and the highest level of care.

This year we expanded the number of award categories to recognise excellence in a more diverse range of teaching roles, in the social justice sphere, and in the Catholic Education Office.

“These awards are important in the life of our Archdiocese, said Director of Catholic Education Canberra Goulburn Ross Fox. “Faith in Learning is prominent in our renewed strategic plan, reflecting our belief that Catholic Education is most powerful when we have both faith and learning together.”

Mr Fox said Catholic Education was blessed to have many people, including leaders, teachers, support staff and volunteers, who lived their charism.

“They give freely of their gifts to benefit our school communities,” he said. “Thank you for giving of yourselves to make our school communities wonderful places to work and learn.”
