Good Shepherd Primary School opened in 2002. The school is situated in the Gungahlin area, the fastest growing region in Canberra, and primarily serves families seeking a Catholic education living in Amaroo, Bonner, Jacka, Taylor, Moncrieff and Forde. The school is a centre of an ever-growing community for young families, new home owners and also for mobile families from the Australian Defence Forces and the Australian Federal Police.
