ACT Children and Young People Commissioners Award and Youth Commitment Award Winners
The highest ACT Children and Young People Commissioners Award has been presented to Elijah Arranz, his support team- a remarkable group of St Francis Xavier College students and Elijah’s sister Lola, in recognition of their courage and compassion in their support of fellow student Elijah whose life took a dramatic turn following a Skydiving accident. Elijah was also presented with the Outstanding Courage Award and his sister and Team Elijah were presented with the Youth Commitment Award. For their faith, bravery, compassion and selflessness’ the Children’s Commissioner commended them. It is a very proud day for the Arranz family, St Francis Xavier College and Catholic Education.
